About Insta Transcript Kit

Insta Transcript Kit is an independently operated tool for turning spoken words in public Instagram videos into readable text. The site is made and maintained by the Insta Transcript Kit operator.

Paste one public Reel or single-video post. Cloudflare retrieves its media and uses automatic speech recognition to create a transcript you can copy or download as TXT. No desktop computer needs to remain running, and you do not need an account with this site.

Scope and limits

We support spoken audio from a single public video, up to five minutes and 8 MB of retrieved audio. We do not unlock private content, process Stories or photo-only posts, or guarantee access to every public link. Instagram can restrict retrieval. Automatic recognition can miss words, names and overlapping speech.

There are five retrieval attempts per visitor per UTC day and 60 attempts across this site. Failed retrieval attempts count. Cloudflare service allowances may stop requests earlier. The browser service has a shared free allowance of ten minutes per day; the transcription service has a shared free allowance of 10,000 neurons per day. These allowances do not promise a fixed number of completed transcripts. There is no paid fallback.
